The Senator expressed her side on the arrest of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte under the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant.

The senators in the Philippines have different opinions on the unexpected arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. On Monday, the former Chief Executive of the country was arrested by the members of the Philippine National Police upon his arrival from Hong Kong.

Duterte was detained for several hours but was flown out from the Philippines before the day has ended. He was en route for the Netherlands where he will face a trial before the International Criminal Court or ICC in The Hague.
